Agile organisations accept that any&nbsp;complex system (such as our brains or social systems) are self-organised by nature and therefore foster participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2023\/04\/25\/the-agile-mindset\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Agile Mindset<\/strong><\/a><br>The Agile Mindset requires a&nbsp;paradigm shift&nbsp;from traditional top-down management to a logic that fosters self-organisation and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/10\/19\/ambiguity-tolerance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ambiguity tolerance<\/a><\/strong><br>Ambiguity (or ambivalence) tolerance is the capacity to acknowledge seemingly contradicting perspectives or emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"Being versus Doing (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2018\/06\/18\/being-versus-doing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Being versus Doing<\/strong><\/a><br>Being&nbsp;means &#8220;living from the soul and is a state of allowing. It means letting ourselves be who and what we are without judgment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/synergetics-dictionary\/#Definition_Chaos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Chaos<\/strong><\/a> [<em>Synergetics<\/em>]<br>Also known as the &#8220;butterfly effect&#8221;; In contrast to our daily life understanding of the word, in physics chaos actually implies some order! Self-organisation is chaotic order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/synergetics-dictionary\/#Definition_ComplexSystems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Complex System<\/strong><\/a> [<em>Synergetics<\/em>]<br>A complex system&nbsp;consists of a plurality of different interacting parts, whose dynamics generally lead to unpredictable behaviour. Examples of complex systems are our brains and our organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/synergetics-dictionary\/#Definition_Emergence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Emergence<\/strong><\/a> [<em>Synergetics<\/em>]<br>Emergence implies the development of novel properties of a system, which cannot simply be explained solely on the basis of the properties of the individual parts that make up the system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"Ego (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/06\/20\/the-ego\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ego<\/strong><\/a><br>The ego is the phantom self \u2013 a mental image about who we are, based on our personal and cultural conditioning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"Equity (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2020\/03\/30\/true-equality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Equity<\/strong><\/a><br>True&nbsp;Equality&nbsp;means&nbsp;to embrace&nbsp;our equal value as human beings, while at the same time appreciating and fostering our differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2023\/04\/25\/the-agile-mindset\/#Evidence-based-Intuition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Intuition<\/strong>, <strong><em>Evidence-based<\/em><\/strong><\/a><br>Continuously testing our gut feeling against reality results in asymptotically improving its accuracy and (in)forms our evidence-based intuition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/08\/30\/science-motivation-episode-1\/#Definition_Autonomous-Controlled-Motivation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Motivation: Autonomous versus Controlled<\/strong><\/a><br>Autonomous motivation refers to internal agreement with the action (e.g. enjoyment, &#8220;the right thing to do&#8221;) versus controlled motivation stems from the anticipation of external rewards or the avoidance of pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/28\/science-decision-making-episode-2\/#Rational_Definition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Rational<\/strong><\/a><br>Contrary to how we use this term in our daily language (high investment of cognitive resources), it turns out that rational decision making refers to the <em>efficient use of one&#8217;s mental energy<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2023\/04\/06\/reflexivity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Reflexivity<\/strong><\/a><br>Reflexivity describes the feedback effects of (self-) reflection and of social structures &amp; processes on our behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"Say what is! (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2018\/05\/22\/say-what-is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Say what is!<\/strong><\/a><br>If we speak &#8220;speak bluntly, directly, and truthfully, even if it is undesirable to hear&#8221;  from a reflected and vulnerable position, we may open the door to building strong connections with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/synergetics-dictionary\/#Definition_SelfOrganisation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Self-Organisation<\/strong><\/a> [<em>Synergetics<\/em>]<br>Every complex system (such as our brains and organisations) are inherently self-organised. This refers to the spontaneous (i.e. not centrally controlled) formation of order and patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/synergetics-dictionary\/#Definition_Synergetics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Synergetics<\/strong><\/a><br>Synergetics is the meta-theory of self-organisation and transformation processes. It is based on a few principles from physics and can be applied to any complex system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"The Now (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/06\/20\/the-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Now<\/strong><\/a><br>The only moment we ever have is the Now &#8211;  Being present in that moment is the key to leading a fulfilled and liberated life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2022\/10\/04\/science-self-organisation-episode-2\/#Difference_Change-Transformation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Transformation versus Change<\/strong><\/a><br>Transformation&nbsp;is associated with a paradigm change; a fundamental transformation of the potential landscape itself. By contrast,&nbsp;change&nbsp;is characterised by the flexible exploitation of alternative, currently perhaps more appropriate wells&nbsp;within the potential landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icanbeme.space\/index.php\/2023\/04\/28\/meta-utilitarianism-a-holistic-view-on-maximising-value\/#Definition_Meta-Utilitarianism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Utilitarianism, <em>(Meta-)<\/em><\/a><\/strong><br>Meta-utilitarianism holds that the most ethical choice is the one that will produce the greatest good (value\/utility) for the greatest impact on people and the environment.
